Official Contest Rules

1. The “CRUISE GIVEAWAY” contest will be conducted from September 25, 2023 – October 13, 2023 on WGRX-FM Thunder 104.5 (the Station).
2. The CRUISE GIVEAWAY “keywords” will air three (3) times per day at approximately  9:00am, noon and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, September 25, 2023 – October 13, 2023. A bonus keyword will be aired at approximately 7am om Thursdays, September 28, October 5 and Oct 12, 2023.
3. All qualifiers must be 21 years of age or older.
4. Qualifiers may not have already won a Thunder 104.5 contest within the past 15 days.
5. Only one person per household/mailing address may qualify to win the cruise.
6. Each of the 48 qualifiers will win a “Thunder Prize Pack” which consists of an exclusive edition t-shirt (XL size only), can cooler, magnetic clip and drawstring tote bag.
7. Entry Method:  In order to participate, a Participant must submit the required personal information and the Station’s on air “keyword” within the hour that the keywords are provided.  Three different keywords will be announced on air on the Station at approximately 9am, noon and 4pm.  Participants may utilize each keyword to submit three entries into the contest each day.  Each Participant may only submit three entries per day, and each of the three entries must utilize a different keyword.  The Station reserves the right to delete, reject, remove, or otherwise not consider any submissions which contain a duplicate keyword. 

When providing the keyword on air, the Station will spell the keyword.  Participants must submit the keyword as it was spelled on air, and only the keyword, in order to provide a qualifying submission.  If a Participant’s submission does not match the spelling provided by the Station on air, the Station reserves the right to delete, reject, remove, or otherwise not consider such submissions when selecting a winner. 

Participants are required to submit all requested information, which may include their first and last name, telephone number, email address, address, city, state, zip code, and certify they meet the age requirements, in order to participate.  The Station reserves the right to delete, reject, remove, or otherwise not consider any submission which does not contain all requested information. 

The Promotion administrator’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Promotion.  Only those submissions which the Promotion administrator deem timely will be considered in selecting a winner.  Proof of submission or other indication of submission will not be accepted to prove the timeliness of a submission. 

8. Awarding the grand prize cruise: A name will be randomly selected from the list of 48 qualifiers and will be announced on the air at approximately 8am on Monday, October 16, 2023. That qualifier will have 10 minutes from the announcement time to call the Thunder 104.5 studio line at 540-710-1045 in order to win the cruise.  If the qualifier fails to call within the allotted time, an alternate qualifier’s name will be randomly drawn and announced on the air. The process will repeat until the designated qualifier calls the Thunder 104.5 studio within the allotted time. The call with the selected winner will be recorded for future playback on WGRX-FM Thunder 104.5. 
9. Grand prize description:  A cruise package for one winner and a guest departing on February 16, 2024 from Baltimore, MD.  Package includes double occupancy ship accommodations in an inside stateroom on the Royal Caribbean “Vision of the Seas” for eight nights, meals and entertainment while on the cruise ship, port charges, taxes and fees.  The cruise itinerary includes stops at Charleston, SC; Port Canaveral, FL; Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas and Nassau, Bahamas.
10. Winner and guest will be responsible for any additional fees, to include gratuities.
11. Required travel documents include a valid ID/driver’s license AND a birth certificate.  Passports are not required but are highly recommended.
12. There is no cash value to the promotion.
13. Winner must provide the full legal name and date of birth for themselves and their guest no later than 4:00pm EST on October 31, 2023.  If the winner is unable to claim the grand prize, the prize may be transferred to another party.  However, the full legal name and date of birth of the persons claiming the grand prize cruise package must be submitted to WGRX-FM Thunder 104.5 no later than 4:00pm EST on October 31, 2023 or the grand prize must be forfeited.
14. Telemedia Broadcasting,WGRX-FM Thunder 104.5, WGRQ-FM SuperHits 95.9 employees, all sponsors and their families are not eligible to win.
15. No purchase necessary.
16. Participation in contest constitutes permission for WGRX-FM Thunder 104.5and sponsors, without further obligation to the contest winner, to use winner name, voice and likeness for purposes of advertising.
17. Failure to comply with all contest rules may result in your disqualification.  Any rule interpretations or changes will be made by Telemedia Broadcasting’s management.  These decisions are final.
