Chrissy Leigh was born and raised in Northern Virginia and moved to the Fredericksburg area about a year ago. She was raised on country music, with Johnny Cash, Toby Keith and Virginia-native Patsy Cline as some of her biggest idols. She also became a fan of, what her friends love to call, the “NOVA sports trifecta;” she LOVES the Washington Capitals, the Washington Nationals and the Washington football team and goes to games any chance she gets.
She spent most of her life working in the restaurant industry (yes she can still flip bottles like a pro), before starting her dream job with Telemedia Broadcasting in early 2021 as the afternoon drive radio host. She spends all of her free time with her teenage son exploring cool local shops and parks.
